In 2015, Jiangsu Yangzhong took the lead in putting forward the construction goal of green energy island (Sun Island) to promote new energy to replace traditional energy. At the end of 2016, Yangzhong was approved to create a high proportion of new energy demonstration cities, focusing on building clean energy projects such as roof distributed photovoltaic power generation, wind power and biomass energy, and creating a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient high proportion of renewable energy production and consumption mode.
